Pineapple payments listed as best tech startups of 2019

Revenue potential, leadership team, brand/product traction, and competitive landscape. These were the factors considered when The Tech Tribute, powered by Crunchbase, compiled a list of the year’s best tech startups.

By bundling innovative products and services to bring a more integrated and seamless credit card processing experience to merchants, The Tech Tribute recognized our compelling value proposition, placing Pineapple Payments in the Top 3 for 2019 Best Tech Startups in Pittsburgh and Top 5 for Best Tech Startups in Pennsylvania.

2019 has been a crazy year for Pineapple Payments. Two of our four acquisitions were with fellow Pittsburgh-based companies. This includes, Athletetrax, a payments-focused software platform serving recreational sports leagues/facilities, and CardChamp, a payments company providing merchant services. 

Pineapple’s plans for the rest of 2019 and beyond? Continue to invest in Pittsburgh’s technology presence and develop our platform, APIs, and out-of-the-box solutions to equip every partner and serve every merchant industry.
