Announced as a 2020 Best Places to Work in Western Pennsylvania Winner

PITTSBURGH – November 9, 2020 – Pineapple Payments awarded as one of Western Pennsylvania’s “Best Places to Work” in the Pittsburgh Business Times annual recognition of outstanding workplaces. After a record-setting nomination year, winners were selected based on an online employee survey in July of 2020 and will be honored at a virtual event on Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Supported by Quantum Workplace, Best Places to Work winners are selected based on an online employee survey measuring employee engagement and other workplace factors including: Communication and Resources, Individual Needs, Manager Effectiveness, Personal Engagement, Team Dynamics, and Trust in Leadership. Responses from each survey question are evaluated and companies are ranked in each size category. Because winners are chosen solely based on survey results, the winners are essentially chosen by the employees themselves. Held annually, the Best Places to Work contest also presents a great opportunity for company leadership to assess their employees’ perceptions and collect invaluable feedback to improve the workplace.
