PITTSBURGH – December 20, 2019 – Pineapple Payments announces today the installation of their illuminated building marquee at 11 Stanwix Street in the downtown Pittsburgh area. This sign represents another year of growth and success achieved by the local fintech start up.
11 Stanwix Street, formerly known as Westinghouse Tower, is one of the major distinctive and recognizable features of Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. The tower was originally built and named for the Westinghouse Corporation. As of today, the building tenants include other national brands Wells Fargo, IKM Architecture, Carmeuse Lime and Stone, the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, the advertising firm Brunner, and the local headquarters of KeyCorp.
11 Stanwix Street was completed on November 24, 1969 and has 23 floors. It rises 355 feet (108 meters) above Downtown Pittsburgh and is located along the Monongahela River. A ten-story building that once served as the city’s main post was previously located on this site. 11 Stanwix is managed by M&J Wilkow, an established commercial real estate development and management group with 49 office and retail properties and over $2.8B in assets under management.
The building has been headquarters to Pineapple Payments since November 2017. In the time that they have occupied the space, the company has experienced tremendous growth, both organically and through acquisitions of other organizations. In addition to this location, they also have offices in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as employees, partners, and clients all over the country.
