Simple and secure, Hosted Payment Page has become a valuable feature of Transax. Offering a quick path to online payment, HPP is often used to sell goods, collect donations, save customer payment information, and accept online bill/invoice payments.

Add Custom Notes to HPP

Introducing Notes – Our newest addition to the customization controls of HPP. Merchants can now use custom notes to add special instructions, provide order descriptions, include disclaimers, present terms, and so much more! Notes are an easy way to share any message you want at checkout.

Use Notes to Enable ‘Click to Accept’ Terms

Especially helpful to Collections Agencies and Law Offices, using Notes alongside Custom Fields is a simple way of including important disclosures and getting customer consent to legal agreements, like a company’s Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

Use Notes to include legalese or link to purchase terms and agreements. Create a Custom Field as an “I Agree” radio-button or checkbox to capture consent to those terms with a single click.

Use Notes to Add Details and Descriptions

Whether collecting donations or selling tickets, using Notes can replace the need to have separate webpages – one page with details and a second page for payment.

Use Notes to include event information, order descriptions, or detail giving options. The flexibility of Notes truly adapts to all scenarios.

Where is HPP Heading?

Hosted Payment Pages have been around since the beginning of Transax. But as merchants around the country are responding to new policies, seeing disruptions in sales, and struggling to adapt business models to overcome these ongoing challenges, the need for swift solutions like HPP becomes even more critical. So, where are hosted payments heading amidst the impact of COVID-19? Below are some of the highlights we put together to demonstrate how different merchants can use HPP as a helping hand.

Contactless Alternatives

While impacted by social distancing policies, many small and midsize retail, restaurants, and service-based businesses continue to accept payments in-person. Seeking a solution that minimizes contact, many merchants think contactless payment options require near-field communication (NFC) technology and new terminals (think Apple Pay, Google Pay, or tap-to-pay credit cards). But there’s an easy and affordable alternative with HPP and QR codes! Every Transax HPP includes 5 different simple sharing options, including a QR code.

Facilitate payment without touching keypads or exchanging cards by having customers scan the HPP QR code, which then takes them to your secure page to pay right from their mobile phone.

  • Extends to any customer (whether or not they have a contactless card or digital wallet).
  • Faster to execute than it would take to implement NFC.
  • Cost alternative to purchasing a new NFC enabled terminal.

Opening Up Online

In response to recent closures, many merchants are opening up online. Whether it’s a shift from brick-and-mortar business to an online store, or in-person giving to online donations, you can create an HPP that fits your needs. Best of all? Transax HPP doesn’t require developer involvement, so you don’t have to be tech-savvy to start selling online.

Start accepting payments on your website via HPP link, pay button, or embedding HPP directly on your page with an iframe.

  • Quickly adapt traditional fundraising strategies to include online donations.
  • Ditch paper-based invoicing and enable online invoicing/bill payment.
  • Transact online in a matter of minutes without increasing PCI scope or programming.
